Safe Space Therapeutic

I’m Jaclyn, a therapist (LCSW) who provides culturally competent and empathetic therapy in Texas.

I have over 10 years of experience working with women and families with marginalized identities, specializing in the topics of career stress, relationships, maternal health, and parenting.

New to therapy?

Many of my clients are new to therapy, so you’re in good company! Many new clients are referred by people I’ve worked with before, so you may have already heard a bit of what it’s like to work with me. Here are some questions that often come up.

  • Therapy involves discussing your thoughts, feelings, and experiences to help you develop tools and strategies to develop a plan to optimize your well-being and mental health.

  • The length of therapy will vary depending on the individual and the issues being addressed. Some people may only need a few sessions, while others may need more. It is important to be patient and to work with your therapist to develop a plan that is right for you.

  • It is important to feel comfortable with your therapist. If you don't feel like you click with me as your therapist, I can always help find another one. There is no shame in switching therapists, and it is important to find someone who you can trust and who you feel comfortable talking to.

“Jaclyn has provided me the tools to now understand that when I am having down times, to reach out and get some help versus trying to figure it out on my own! I am grateful for her help and I would recommend therapy to anyone and everyone who is struggling!”
