Safe Space Therapeutic
Empowering Women Through Every Stage of Life
At Safe Space Therapeutic, we believe that when women are supported, whole communities thrive. For five years, we have served as a sanctuary for healing, growth, and transformation. What began as a solo mission has grown into a dedicated team of culturally competent, empathetic clinicians committed to providing high-quality mental health care across the state of Texas.
From the formative years of adolescence to the complexities of modern motherhood and career, we provide a specialized therapeutic experience tailored to the unique transitions of a woman’s life.
Who We Support
Our clinicians specialize in the diverse experiences of women’s mental health, including:
Adolescent Girls & Teens: Navigating identity, self-esteem, and the pressures of growing up today.
Young Adulthood: Managing life transitions, college stress, and early career shifts.
The Motherhood Journey: Specialized support for preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum mental health (PMADs).
Work-Life Integration: Helping high-achieving women find balance without the burnout.
Relationship Dynamics: Building healthy boundaries and deeper connections in all areas of life.
We provide compassionate therapeutic support for women and families in all life stages in Texas. To ensure care is accessible to everyone who needs it, we work with a wide range of insurance providers.
Our practice owner offers affordable supervision for LMSWs throughout Texas, with flexible virtual options. The supervision approach emphasizes professional growth and provides the guidance needed to develop your clinical skills and advance your career.
New to therapy?
Many clients are new to therapy, so you’re in good company! Many new clients are referred by people we’ve worked with before, so you may have already heard a bit of what it’s like to work with our team. Here are some questions that often come up.
-
Therapy involves discussing your thoughts, feelings, and experiences to help you develop tools and strategies to develop a plan to optimize your well-being and mental health.
-
The length of therapy will vary depending on the individual and the issues being addressed. Some people may only need a few sessions, while others may need more. It is important to be patient and to work with your therapist to develop a plan that is right for you.
-
It is important to feel comfortable with your therapist. If you don't feel like you click with me as your therapist, I can always help find another one. There is no shame in switching therapists, and it is important to find someone who you can trust and who you feel comfortable talking to.
What our clients are saying
Many new clients are referred by people we’ve worked with before, and I’m thankful for the trust and support! Here are what some people have said about us and what they’ve gained from working with our team.
“My therapist is honest, kind, understanding, direct, relatable and listens without judgement. She has also provided me with tools. I feel better and stronger after each session. My relationship with my kids has improved.. I have gained more confidence and optimism.”
“My therapist has provided me the tools to now understand that when I am having down times, to reach out and get some help versus trying to figure it out on my own! I am grateful for her help and I would recommend therapy to anyone and everyone who is struggling!”
